Location shot 1

For me this is quite an important location shot as it can be used as an establishing shot to the beginning of a film. The high rise buildings and the notorious red buses indicate that the film is based in London. There are also well known buildings around the area which would familiarise people that it is in London. A possible issue may be that somebody from a foreign country watching the film might need more famous iconic scenery associated with London, therefore it might be appropriate to use this as a second shot, having something like big Ben as the first. The weather in this particular shot is sunny and bright which makes good contrast with the buildings below, this means that there is adequate lighting, making it an acceptable quality.

The streets are populated with people in this image which means that it can limit the film opportunities of the area, anything like a film that requires zombies or ‘total human extinction’ will be eliminated by this shot as the environment is not appropriate.
