I won’t stand for it’, what makes this a significant statement is the fact that she is the only woman seen throughout the trailer, also it shows that unlike usual, her feminine position is respect not only amongst the male community but also the gangster community, it brings forward the connotation of this being a hard up film, everybody for themselves attitude. This idea and value is visually shown in the next shot, whereby there is one man left standing in the lift whilst the two others have been shot, even though they seemed to be like part of the same firm. Outside the lift is a young boy seen to be unaware of the happenings of what happened in the lift, it is very unusual to see a young boy brought into a heavy violence film, and seen to be unaware of the abnormality, as the audience are what provide the material to which to build a film it seems that the director of this film has thought carefully about who is involved and what the audience will be interested by. When I produce my film I will need to consider adding something unordinary, also I need a clever storyline for my film that can be briefly hinted by clips from the film in a teaser trailer. I also like the fact that the voice over is featured over two shots and the in which it connects with both parts of the clips this is an aspect that I would like to consider using in my teaser trailer, I would like my shots to interlink with each other.
