Similar to most modern films I notice that Brighton rock includes a location shot, of a beach, as well as the title ‘Brighton rock’, this is very basically done, and allows the audience to rather sit back and be told what happens rather than having it make them trying to work it out themselves. I feel that Lockstock is left more for the audience to work out, and I prefer this type of media approach, they tend to drop location shots so that we as the audience can identify the location.
