Storyline

From some thinking i came up with the idea of a gangster film revolving around gambling.
I thought that my film could be about a man who had a notorious reputation for being a pro at poker. It appears that one night after winning lots of money in a casino, that some big players of the underworld approached him, basically saying that their boss has taken an interest.

The main character being the talented poker player, is going to go by the name of charlie, he will end up getting tied into a deal with a mafia boss, whereby, he will bet with their money for a substantial living as well as reputation. Not knowing that charlie was being introduced to a long winded set up he plays feeling convinced that he is the ultimate winner of both cash and reputation.

Despite offers from mafia members for rigging games charlie turns them down, Knowing a secret poker technique of counting cards, he had no need to cheat. As time went by word went round about him, as he was becomming a huge cost to the casino's as well as the rich and famous who faced him. Fearing that charlie was going to be the cause of the end of poker many people wanted him gone.When an important game comes up charlie begins to worry about his future in the poker world, as it became the first game that he played that he lost. Oweing substancial money to one of the bosses charlie was forced to go on the run, despite knowing that the game was rigged, charlie had no one that would believe him.

As the big chase goes on charlie has no choice but to reveal the poker secret, and does so to a trustworthy friend... as the money comes into the pair, they plotted an escape to another country, so close to escaping charlies friend was captured by the mafia boss and taken into the hands of the casino's where they questioned him about his technique.

When charlie finds out he sends a message to the casinos, that he will reveal the secret unless they let his friend free and dropped the debt they owed. The casino's then ask him to provide the secret to his wins for his friends life. Reluctantly charlie sends this information, little does the casino know that this was all a made up scandal, they end up attacking and killing the mafia boss for tampering with the equipment of the casino's.

Charlie and his friend then retire to a lavish lifestyle. ends with a bottle of champagne and a pile of cash.
