analyses of film poster #3

I decided to analyse a film poster from the 1950's, i found it to be quite interesting, most of the conventions had stayed the same, only technology seemed to be different.

I feel that this poster is a very good way to perhaps approaching a modern day film, as many people have respect for the history of film, they might stop too look at something that seems out of place amongst the other posters around them.

I feel that creating a poster using the similar codes and conventions of this one, that people may find interest in it as to whats going on... its almost changing the times we live in... people in my
opinion will stop to look to try to understand.

The codes and convetions are that the man is wearing typical gangster clothes has a serious expression and is done in a drawing like effect. The actors in the past seem to be more of an aspect of interest to audience than technology, hence the size of the text is bigger, also the title is made to stand out in red writing, this goes against the grain of rules. Many people find red writing to be rude, hence in this scenerio it is a code and convention relating to gangsters and thir rebelion and anarchy.
